As a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charter holder, Andrew applies fundamental research and 35 years of extensive industry experience to manage customized portfolios across multiple asset classes.

He founded Jackson Square Capital after 17 years as a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Securities. During this time, Andrew also acted as Regional Director for J.P. Morgan Securities’ San Francisco and Seattle region for five years. Previously, he was Senior Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston (2000-2002), which had acquired his prior firm, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (1988–2000). He began his financial services career at Dean Witter in 1984 after earning his BA in Economics from the University of Colorado.
Andrew is described by his JSC colleagues as a fun, nerdy, “get stuff done” hard worker who is passionate and dedicated to being the best in the industry for his clients, inspiring his staff to do the same.
His weekends are often spent with friends and family, including two college-age children, and going on long, desolate trail runs.

Joy works with each individual and family, providing hands-on service to ensure the highest quality client experience in customized wealth planning, executive services, and performance reporting. A Bay Area native, Joy loves to be outdoors, especially hiking and running.
Michael Cordano
Investment Advisor
Series 66, Series 7
Michael works directly with clients in all facets of the firm’s capabilities in wealth advice, investment management, and executive services. He directs the client on-boarding process, provides ongoing account maintenance and responds to all client service requests.
Michael graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Finance and an emphasis in Business Law. After interning and working part-time for small independent advisors while completing his senior year of classes, Michael started his professional career at J.P. Morgan Securities in 2016 as a Client Associate in San Francisco. During this time, he focused on Fixed Income Securities and Portfolio Hedging. He now brings that focus to Jackson Square in monitoring client bond portfolios and overarching portfolio analytics.
JSC teammates describe Michael as a professional, hardworking sage (with great hair!), listening and absorbing in the background until he can chime in with words that cut to the core of the conversation at hand.
A Northern California native now living in San Francisco, Michael enjoys golf, long-distance cycling, movies, and a good happy hour in his free time.

An Oregon native, Stacy, her husband, and teenage daughter reside in Portland and are an avid basketball family.
Cannon Allen
Investment Advisor
Cannon partners closely with clients to understand their unique profile and to formulate risk-conscious plans to meet personal needs and goals. Additionally, he serves as the direct point of contact for JSC’s strategic partnerships including tax advisors, estate attorneys, trust officers, and third party fiduciaries.
Cannon graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in Mathematics and Linguistics. Before joining the JSC team, he supported the management team at Merrill Lynch’s San Francisco office and then spent several years at J.P. Morgan Securities in San Francisco. There, he focused on financial planning, risk management, and helping ultra-high net worth clients navigate liquidity events, experience that serves him well at JSC.
JSC teammates describe Cannon as enthusiastic and solution-oriented with deep knowledge and an insatiable curiosity.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Cannon moved to California in 2014 and now lives in San Francisco with his adored wife. He enjoys reading, spending time in wine country, and singing his guts out at karaoke in his free time.
Dana Dowell

Dana handles all day-to-day internal tasks required to keep JSC running smoothly. She maintains relationships with JSC’s many partners and keeps team morale high with her positive attitude.
