Growth/Value, Bond Yields and Yield Curve

Growth sectors underperformed value sectors by 585bps last week as bond yields rose and the curve steepened. This week’s list of catalysts has the potential to reverse some of that outperformance. Powell’s nomination hearings tomorrow and CPI on Wednesday have the most potential to create a reversal in oversold pockets of growth with strong fundamentals (semis and semi cap equipment come to mind).
